2020 SYNC Summit

What is the SYNC Summit price?

Register now for just $299 and save $50. Don’t wait - price will go back up to $349.

If you are a ZIN™ Member in good standing and plan on attending the Zumba Instructor Convention, you can sign up through the Convention Website ( and choose the SYNC Summit sessions for your Saturday and Sunday experience. Access to these sessions is included in your ZIN Convention registration at no additional cost to you.

Are there any requirements to attend the 2020 SYNC Summit?

Yes. This event is exclusive to members of SYNC, the STRONG by Zumba® Instructor Network. You must be a SYNC Member with an account in good standing at the time of registration and at the time of the event. In the event that your SYNC Account is not in good standing at the time of the event (July 30 - August 2, 2020), your event registration will be canceled and you will not receive a refund.

Will I get a certificate of completion for attending the SYNC Summit?


Will I get a certificate of completion or be licensed to teach any of the sessions I take (e.g., Drills & Skills etc.)?

The SYNC Summit Sessions are not trainings and therefore do NOT provide a license to teach that specific session. These sessions are intended to expand your knowledge of fundamental concepts and skills so you can apply them to your STRONG by Zumba® classes. No certificate of completion will be given for attending these sessions.

In addition to what I have signed up for, what does every package include?

  • Access to the Zumba® Instructor Convention Fitness-Concert™ Event on Saturday morning
  • Access to Saturday evening's Theme Party
  • Access to the Zumba® Wear store
  • Continuing Education Credits

Where will the SYNC Summit events be held? 

The entire SYNC Summit event will be held in the Hyatt Regency Orlando and the south concourse in the Orange Count Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Everything will be located within walking distance from any of the hotels in our room block.

Do the hotel rates only apply to the dates of the SYNC Summit?

The Hyatt Regency Orlando will extend their $164.00 (plus tax) hotel room rate, the Hilton Hotel Orlando will extend their $161.00 (plus tax) hotel room rate, and the Rosen Centre will extend their $145.00 (plus tax) hotel room rate three days before and after the ZIN™ Convention dates.

What is the SYNC Summit cancellation policy?

Our policy varies depending on the date of cancellation.


Cancellation Fee Until May 15, 2020: $0.00

Cancellation Fee Starting May 16 - May 30, 2020:  $175

Cancellation Fee After May 30, 2020:  NO REFUND*

*Same fee for what is considered a “no show.” If you do not cancel after May 30, you will not receive a refund.

Can I transfer my SYNC Summit package to another SYNC Member?


If I can't make it to the SYNC Summit, can I apply my registration to other Zumba® products (e.g., Instructor Training Courses, STRONG by Zumba® merchandise, etc.)?

No, you will not be able to apply your registration to other STRONG by Zumba® products or events. If you're unable to make it to the SYNC Summit, be sure to cancel as soon as possible to avoid the “no show” fee (please see cancellation policy FAQ).

When will registration for the SYNC Summit close?

The last day to register for the SYNC Summit will be July 28, 2020, unless the event sells out prior to that date. No registrations will be accepted after this date.

If I am also attending the Zumba® Instructor Network Convention, do I need to pay separately?

If you are a ZIN™ Member in good standing and plan on attending the Zumba Instructor Convention, you can sign up through the Convention Website and choose the SYNC Summit sessions for your Friday and Saturday experience. Access to these sessions is included in your ZIN Convention registration at no additional cost to you.

If my spouse or family member is attending the ZIN™ Convention, can I also attend?

As part of your entry to the SYNC Summit, you receive access to the Zumba® Fitness-Concert(™), Theme Party and Zumba Wear Store that are part of the ZIN Convention. To attend any of the Sessions, trainings or other events associated with ZINCon, you must be a ZIN Member in good standing registered for the ZIN Convention.

What type of floor surface will the SYNC Summit rooms have?

Rooms will have low-grade carpet, but gloves are still recommended for floorwork.

Will I receive credits for the sessions at the SYNC Summit?

Yes, you will receive Continuing Education Credits for sessions in this event.

Can my spouse attend the SYNC Summit if he or she is not registered for the event? What about my children?

Only officially registered attendees with a SYNC Summit credential will be allowed into the event.

Will there be STRONG by Zumba® merchandise for sale at the SYNC Summit?

Yes! You will have access to the Zumba® Wear Store, which will have STRONG by Zumba® merchandise.

Will there be special prices for apparel merchandise at the SYNC Summit?

All products will be priced at the already-discounted SYNC price, and some will be discounted to even lower event-only prices!

What is the return policy for apparel merchandise bought at the event?

There will be no exchanges and only returns will be accepted. Returns are only accepted from items purchased at the main Zumba® Wear Store. NO returns can be made from our outlet store or after the event is over.

Can apparel merchandise bought online be returned at the SYNC Summit?

No. All items bought on need to be returned following Zumba's return policy.

What forms of payment can I use to purchase apparel merchandise?

MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover Card, US Dollars, Traveler's Check, Money Order and Cashier's Check. Please note that NO personal checks will be accepted.

Will there be a medical staff on site?

Yes. Emergency Medical Services will be available on site during convention hours.

Note: EMS will carry basic first aid supplies as well as over-the-counter medications, oxygen, and an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). They will be located in designated areas within The Hyatt Regency Hotel, Hilton Hotel, Rosen Center, and Medical Room #6 at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC).

When should I book my airfare?

Our advice is to save money on your airline ticket and book your flight as soon as possible!

When are registration hours?

Friday July 31, 2020 from 7:00am ET - 8:00am ET.

What is the hotel room cancellation policy?

All reservations require a non-refundable deposit of the equivalent to one (1) one night's selected room rate plus tax ("Deposit"). This deposit may be reflected on your credit card statement as early as June 27, 2020 (subject to change without notice). 

In the event a guest checks out prior to the reserved check-out date, the Hotel will charge an early departure fee of one night’s group room rate plus taxes. Guests wishing to avoid an early departure fee should advise the Hotel at or before check-in of any changes to the planned length of stay.

In addition to the Deposit, 2020 ZIN™ Convention’s official hotel accommodations agent, ConferenceDirect, will charge a $30 cancellation fee for any cancelled reservation(s) after May 15, 2020.
